This week I had the honor of speaking at the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana Lapper VIP party.
This event is a wonderful event in that it gives the community the opportunity to "walk a mile (or more)" in the shoes of a cancer survivor.
The goal of the event is two-fold...
to raise funds for Cancer Services and to give the community an opportunity to stretch past their comfort level and walk as long and as far as they can - to experience a little bit of the struggle that cancer survivors have to endure every day.
I hope that you will visit the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana website to see what this amazing organization is all about.
They have been a huge part of my cancer journey.
I will apologize for the tears in the video, I blame Amber for her very touching introduction - I was crying before I even got to the podium.
